On November 20, Black Awareness day, the children of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades participated in another edition of the ADL Project – Altersdurchmischtes Lernen (learning in multi-series classes). This time the theme was Africa.

Divided into groups including students from all three grades, the children, at the beginning of the activity, played with the rhythm while singing the song Jo`s Slaves. Then the groups passed through the classrooms and in each one of them they performed different activities related to Africa. Through the use of workstations, it was possible to know a little more about the culture, cuisine, flora and fauna, places and languages of this fascinating continent. During the activity, there was also a moment of reflection about the relationship between the history of Brazil and that of Africa.

Again, the children showed their commitment and ability to build learning from differences, be it age, ideas or thoughts.
